It is part of human nature that we are competitive. In life and in our job, we compete for attention and for recognition and for rewards, It doesn’t necessarily have to do with money. It’s important to check with each one before making assumptions. It is also completely reasonable to believe that you can have fantastic catering at your wedding for exactly what you want to pay.
